Founded in 1983 by Bernard Molyneux of Manchester, England, the retail store "Antiques & Country Pine"  had become known in the Southeast region of the United States for importing and showcasing some of the finest antiques and accessories in the country. After several years in business, the difference in price between the U.S. Dollar and the British Pound made it difficult for many buyers to continue to purchase actual antiques, so Molyneux realized he would have to develop his own furniture line to represent these beautiful pieces of the past to keep their memory alive.

Now his ever growing European-inspired furniture line has earned the reputation for displaying some of the finest quality "eco-friendly", sustainable solid wood pieces in home furnishings today and is aptly called "the Bernard Molyneux Collection", a name regarded synonymous with old-world style craftsmanship and dedicated quality service.
